Municipal pricing

What municipal software costs a town, and what the town owns

Every price is on this page, with two worked examples, so you know roughly what to put in front of council before anyone gets on the phone.

The short answer

Cor Pathway 360 costs a town a one time setup of $3,000 to $10,000 and a service package from $1,500 a month on a two year minimum. The software itself is free and the town owns it. There is no per user fee.

Two worked examples

A town with about 15 employees. $3,000 setup, then $1,500 a month. Over the two year minimum that comes to $39,000.

A city of about 70,000 people with about 100 employees. About $10,000 setup, then about $3,000 a month. Over two years that comes to about $82,000.

Every town in between gets its own number on a call, worked out from its staff count and its fleet. Both ends of the range are on this page so you can see where yours will land before you call.

The service package

What the monthly price pays for

We stay in the background for the life of the system, so it keeps working and keeps getting better.

Anything that goes wrong, we fix
Every problem that comes up is ours to sort out. Your staff call, and it gets handled.
Two to three improvements every month
New screens, better reports and changes your departments ask for, so the system keeps getting more useful instead of aging.
Error checks every night
The town's system is checked every night for errors, failed jobs and anything that did not send.
Security watched around the clock
The system is watched 24 hours a day, so nobody is getting in who should not be.

Why two years

Setting a town up is a lot of work: departments, staff, forms, fleet, assets, permit types and the public pages all go in before anyone sees the benefit. You are not giving the software a chance if you only use it for a few months.

After two years, we expect the service to have earned the renewal. If it has not, you leave with everything.

What a town is never charged

  • A per user fee. Add every office worker, seasonal operator and summer student.
  • A licence fee for the software.
  • An export fee or a wind down charge if the town leaves.

If the town stops working with us, the system keeps running on its own accounts and we hand over every credential we hold. How ownership and the handover work.

Questions about the price

What decides our setup fee?
The size of the town. More staff means more infrastructure, more tools and more trucks to load and set up. A town with about 15 employees is about $3,000, and a city of about 70,000 people with about 100 employees is about $10,000.
What decides the monthly price?
The size of the town again, starting from $1,500 a month. A city of around 70,000 people is closer to $3,000 a month. You get your exact number on a call, worked out from your staff count and your fleet.
Why is there a two year minimum?
Setting a town up is a lot of work, and two years is what it takes to give the system a fair chance. After two years we expect the service to have earned the renewal, and you decide whether it has.
Is there a per user fee?
No. Add every office worker, seasonal operator and summer student you have. The price does not change when the staff list does.
Is the software itself free?
Yes. The town owns the code and its data, with no licence fee. The service package pays for the people who set it up, keep it running and keep improving it.
What happens if we stop?
The system keeps running. It is on hosting and a database in the town's name, so we hand over any credentials we hold and step out. There is no export fee and no wind down charge.
